To provide support to the Group Financial Controller, as part of the finance team for the companies owned by Ipswich Borough Council and their subsidiaries, including:

Ipswich Buses Limited

IPSERV Limited

Ipswich Borough Assets Limited

Stage Event Security Limited

Handford Homes Limited

Ipserv Direct Limited

Handford Lettings Limited

Ipswich Borough Assets Developments Limited

Ipserv Employers Limited

The role is 37 hours per week, mainly office based, Monday to Friday

The candidate will have an accountancy qualification (AAT or equivalent) or be qualified by experience. They will have broad financial and management reporting experience, with a commercial focus. The candidate will be an excellent communicator able to liaise and influence at all levels.
