Day to Day duties:
This post acts as the main contact point for all insurance related matters affecting the Council and supports the day-to-day treasury management activities of the Council.
Ideally you would have knowledge of insurance from a local government perspective and / or experience of day-to-day treasury management activities.
The post holder will ultimately be expected to hold AAT or similar qualification, so this role is suitable for anyone who, is at least, part way through their qualification. Full support will be provided towards fulfilling this aim.
It is essential that the candidate is highly numerate and has experience in the use of Excel, Word or similar applications. They will need to show that they can work with minimum supervision and cope with a varied workload and unexpected demands.
Hours of work are 37 per week, Monday to Friday.
