Ipswich Borough Councils Parking Services are excited to be able to offer the opportunity for a self-motivated, customer focused individual to join our Crown car park-team. We aim to achieve high standards of operations, including well-maintained and serviced equipment coupled with delivering exceptional customer service to all our visitors. Our goal is to ensure that all our customers who use our flagship pay on foot multi-storey car park will always have good reason to return and can park with the confidence that our team will resolve any issues to their complete satisfaction.
Day to day
Smooth operations of this multi- storey car park are paramount. Responsibilities will include; cash handing, opening and closing the car park, you will be the main point of contact when on shift and will assist customers with any queries, carry out minor maintenance to the equipment and barriers, clean the ticket readers, replenishment ticket, unjamming note readers, fixing coin jams, along with insuring that the litter is removed and the car park is well presented at all times. Detailed cleaning will be an element of this role whist maintaining the high regard for health and safety for yourself and members of the public.
About you
Having worked in a car park environment previously would be a benefit. Candidates must be able to demonstrate good customer service, communication and problem-solving skills and be able to operate computers-based systems. Team members will be required to work on a shift rota bases, so there is a need to be reliable, flexible and able to lone work. This role is subject to a DBS check.
