Job Description

As part of a large and diverse Sports and Fitness programme you will instruct coached activities/classes. Working across multiple sites in Ipswich we offer a wide range of fitness classes and sports activities. As well as instructing these sessions you will set up and check equipment, provide advice and support to customers and maintain professional qualifications.

Candidates must hold a relevant qualification in coaching and/or fitness instruction. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about sports and fitness and have experience in coaching.

Ipswich Borough will support professional development and provide opportunities to attend CPDs.

This post is a 5-hour annualised contract for sickness and holiday cover, offered on a fixed term basis for 12 months.

DBS clearance is required for this role.
