We are looking for a hardworking, motivated plasterer.

About you

We would expect you to have relevant experience in a similar role, to be qualified to City & Guilds standard or relevant craft qualification.

You will be required to submit accurate weekly timesheets, be a good team player, have an ability to always deal with our customers in a polite and respectful manner. In this role you will be required to carry out manual tasks such as considerable lifting, bending, climbing, and walking.

Effectively work on own initiative or within a team of operatives carrying out plastering works as required. You will need to be fully competent in all elements of plastering to enable you to assist with the repair, renewal, and maintenance of council owned properties in an efficient, effective and customer focused manner.

A full UK driving licence is required for this post. 

Hours of work are 8am – 4.30pm Monday to Thursday with 1 hr lunch then 8am-3.30pm on Friday with 30-minute lunch.

You will be based from Gipping House, Ipswich IP2 0UH. You may be allocated an electric fleet vehicle if so, these are to remain at Gipping House overnight. You will be allocated your work on a mobile tablet device. Covering all areas of Ipswich Town IP1, IP2, IP3 & 4.
