Tree Surgeon Supervisor

 

We are looking for a Team Leader/Manager who is a confident climber, presentable, has good communication skills and can manage our Tree Team in their technical operations. This is a new role and will require a mix of office based tasks, site visits and when required to be operational and work on-site with the team.

Salary – £36,648 – £38,223

HEARS Responder

We currently have a vacancy for a HEARS Responder to join our Home Emergency Alarm Response Service (HEARS) team. Our HEARS Responders provide emergency alarm response to HEARS customers across Ipswich and the surrounding suburbs. The team specialise in the provision of first aid and are manual handling specialists, assisting fallen and/or injured individuals with the use of specialist equipment, leaving them safe and comfortable in their own home, allowing customers to maintain their independence.

Salary – £22,472 – £23,660

Tree Surgeon Technician

 

We are looking for two Tree Surgeon Technician’s to join our in-house Tree Surgery Team. The postholders will be required to undertake all aspects of tree surgery with particular emphasis on climbing and high-level tree work operations to industry standards in accordance with the needs of the particular tree species and their associated environment.

Salary – £28,282 – £29,777

Park Protection Officer

Ipswich Borough Council’s Park Protection Team are responsible for ensuring the safety of visitors and upkeep of all parks & open spaces around Ipswich seven days a week. As we are now moving towards the warmer months with longer opening hours, we are looking for motivated people with a passion for the outdoors to join us to assist with the seasonal demand.

Compliance and Building Safety Manager

A senior post in Ipswich Borough Council, in one of its largest front line services. Compliance and Building Safety Manager will be a senior management post within the Maintenance & Contracts (Housing) service dedicated to continuous improvement, efficient services and improving housing safety and standards for our customers. Building Safety and Compliance is at the top of the Council’s priorities.

You will hold a professional building service-related qualification (HNC/HND or an NVQ level 5) and ideally will also have served a recognised electrical apprenticeship and can demonstrate both staff and contract management experience.
