HR Advisor

You will be a key member of the HR team providing high-quality advice and guidance across the full range of HR activity, establishing yourself as a key professional advisor whilst at the same time embedding and maintaining systems, policies, procedures and best practice.

You will provide generalist HR advisory support to dedicated service/operational areas at all levels of the organisation and must be able to demonstrate experience of managing ER casework.  You must have a sound knowledge of Employment Law and its practical application and have a CIPD qualification at a level 5 or above, or be working towards one.  

You will also need to have great attention to detail, possess excellent communication skills and strong organisational abilities. You will need a creative approach to problem resolution, analysis and interpretation of employee-related matters as well as a broad understanding of HR issues and policies to make judgements and decisions.

This is a hybrid working role (a minimum of 2 days per week working in the office) and you will need the flexibility to occasionally travel to other IBC venues within the Ipswich borough.

The selection process will comprise of an assessment and interview. Interviews are expected to be held on 7th March 2024.
