Civil Enforcement Officer

Principal Building Control Surveyor

 

We are seeking either an LABC Level 6 qualified Principal Building Control Surveyor or someone studying / prepared to study for this level of qualification to fill a career grade post for Ipswich Borough Council.

Electrical Manager

The Maintenance & Contracts service spends circa. £25 million annually improving, repairing, and maintaining a retained housing stock of circa 8000 properties and 15 sheltered schemes to our local “Ipswich Standard”. The Council takes a holistic approach to stock management and has one seamless service that is now responsible for everything in connection with the asset management of that stock; from initial design to completing works on site on a right first-time basis using our own directly employed trade teams.

Bus Drivers

 

Do you want to be a local hero?

We are looking for friendly, caring and confident people who are passionate about customer service to join our amazing team of bus drivers in and around Ipswich.

We offer some of the leading rates of pay in the area– drivers you join either our 4-day or 5-day town rota where you will be paid an hourly rate of £13.50 and guaranteed a minimum of 39 hours of work every week.  Your earnings will be a basic of £527+ per week. As this is your basic pay, this is the absolute minimum you will be paid, and you will normally be paid more.

Term Time Bus Drivers

 

We are looking for friendly, caring and confident people who are passionate about customer service to join our amazing team of school bus drivers in and around Ipswich.

As long as you have a can-do, customer-focused attitude, We are currently welcoming applications from existing PCV License holders, and also those without bus licenses.

We offer some of the leading rates of pay in the area – after completing and training required drivers will be allocated a school route, where you will be paid an hourly rate of £12.22. Those of you wanting to work a full day will be guaranteed 30 hours pay per week. Those of you working a half day will be guaranteed 15 hours pay per week.
