What would you be doing?
After full training you’ll join a team completing Refuse and Recycling collections daily, gaining knowledge of all machinery used. A comprehensive manual handling training program will be delivered to ensure safe operation as the role involves considerable bending, lifting, and walking. You’ll be a key front-line face of Ipswich Borough Council, providing community continuity and offering excellent customer and client interaction on recycling and refuse.
The role is 37 hours per week, based on Hadleigh Road Industrial Estate. Working hours are Tuesday to Friday with some bank holidays contracted. Full uniform is provided.
