Principal Building Control Surveyor

We are seeking either an LABC Level 6 qualified Principal Building Control Surveyor or someone studying / prepared to study for this level of qualification to fill a career grade post for Ipswich Borough Council.
You’ll be joining a dedicated and expert team which makes up the Ipswich and East Suffolk Building Control Partnership, and support Ipswich Borough Council’s Head of Building Control to lead on a range of matters especially high rise and complex buildings.
You will hold a recognised qualification in Building Control and full membership of RICS or CABE. You will ideally be qualified to LABC Level 6 Fire Safety competency qualification or be willing to train to gain this accreditation.
