Service Desk Support Officer

Full-time Position

The ICT Service Desk is the single point of contact for all ICT related enquiries. These enquiries are logged either by the Service Desk software, by email or by telephone.

As a Service Desk Support Officer, you will triage all enquiries and either fix at first point of contact or escalate to the appropriate team.

The ICT Service Desk is the single point of contact for all ICT related enquiries. These enquiries are logged either by the Service Desk software, by email or by telephone.

As a Service Desk Support Officer, you will triage all enquiries and either fix at first point of contact or escalate to the appropriate team.

The role can be performed via home-working home, but you will occasionally be required to come into our main office as and when needed.

We work a two-shift rota system covering 08:00 – 17:00 Mon – Fri

The role includes: 

  • Providing first level fault resolution
  • Speaking with users via Skype/Teams
  • Updating/creating ICT procedures
  • Maintaining asset registers
  • Keeping licence allocation up to date
  • Following procedures to ensure security levels are adhered to

The successful candidate will have: 

  • Good knowledge of O365 and Skype for Business
  • Excellent inter-personal skills
  • Experience of customer-facing environments 
  • Self-motivation and a keenness to provide a proactive quality level of service.
  • Good general ICT skills

The selection process will be an interview held on 21/06/2023.
