We currently have a vacancy for the post of Technician Grounds Maintenance to join our Cemeteries Service. The post is based in our Cemeteries undertaking grounds maintenance tasks. You will also be trained in grave digging and receive an external qualification.

We currently have a vacancy for the post of Technician Grounds Maintenance to join our Cemeteries Service.
The post is based in our Cemeteries undertaking grounds maintenance tasks. You will also be trained in grave digging and receive an external qualification.
You will be required to demonstrate that you are highly reliable, self-motivated, well organised and able to prioritise your work.
You will have experience in horticultural maintenance and development tasks in various locations.
E.g. Grass cutting / hard & soft landscaping, shrub / rose bed maintenance, Sports Grounds, turfing etc. and have a good level of health and safety awareness in relation to these operations.
You will work both alone with minimal supervision and as part of a team where you should be able to communicate effectively. You will have experience of working in a public facing environment with excellent customer care skills.
A full UK driving licence is required for this post.
Hours of work are 37 per week, Monday to Friday.
