Full-time Position
To lead in the development and delivery of the Tenant Participation Service, ensuring that Ipswich Tenants have a full range of opportunities to be involved and are genuinely empowered to work alongside Ipswich Borough Council staff and Councillors to help shape our housing services being delivered.

To lead in the development and delivery of the Tenant Participation Service, ensuring that Ipswich Tenants have a full range of opportunities to be involved and are genuinely empowered to work alongside Ipswich Borough Council staff and Councillors to help shape our housing services being delivered.
Day to day
To lead and develop an effective approach to tenant involvement ensuring that IBC are compliant with the Regulator of Social Housing’s instruction.
Promoting, developing and empowering tenants to represent themselves more effectively with the council through a range of formal and informal participation events, working alongside various service areas within IBC.
Contribution towards the production of relevant publicity material including Tenants’ Newsletters and reports and having responsibility for informing tenants of the Council’s Policies and Procedures using social media.
Being the lead in ensuring that IBC have a robust approach to ensuring Tenant Satisfaction Measures are implemented and reported effectively.
Working to achieve a positive culture across all IBC services ensuring that tenants have direct and genuine involvement in how our service offer is delivered.

Hours of work are 37 per week, Monday to Friday.
The post holder may be required to work some evenings, or weekend on occasion to facilitate tenant meetings / events.
