
Tenancy Services – Operations Manager
This exciting role sits within our Housing and Communities Directorate and will work closely with colleagues, the wider Corporate Management Team, Councillors, and partners, to deliver on behalf of the residents of Ipswich.

Ipswich Borough Council is looking for the right person to coordinate and deliver on the Council’s Tenancy Services functions including Housing Management, Older Person Housing, Income Collection and Leasehold services.
The role will develop and lead a range of housing programmes and work as part of the Housing Management Team. You will have strong relationship building skills and a good understanding and demonstrable experience of delivering quality housing services. This role is about making a difference to the Council’s tenants; ensuring the service meets changing tenant and regulatory expectations; improved tenant engagement and income maximisation.
The role will lead the development and implementation of the following areas:
- Maximising income collection
- Move towards digital services
- Older person housing review
- Transforming the Housing service
- Developing an offer desirable to tenants and residents both now and in the future
