
Town Fund Project Manager
Full-time Position
Ipswich has secured £25m from the Towns Fund will provide the core public investment to make large scale changes to the local economy. The objective of the Fund is to drive the economic regeneration of towns to deliver long term economic and productivity growth through urban regeneration, planning and land use, skills and enterprise infrastructure and improving connectivity through developing local transport schemes that complement regional and national networks, as well as supporting the delivery of improved digital connectivity.
Job Description
We are seeking two Towns Fund Project Managers who will be working closely with the Head of Economic Development & Towns Fund and the Towns Fund Programme Manager to assist with the implementation, co-ordination and delivery of Ipswich’s 10 Towns Fund projects. The successful applicant will need to work closely with partners across various sectors to deliver this exciting change.
It is expected that the successful candidate will have excellent project management and communication skills with the ability to deliver outcomes to tight deadlines.
The post is for an anticipated period of 2 years to undertake this specific piece of work.
The individuals should be flexible in their approach, with excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise own workloads & deal with conflicting demands.
Hours of work are 37 per week, Monday to Friday.
