Information Governance Officer 

In this role you will be processing all enquiries using the Council’s IT systems, chasing the provision of information and preparing responses to be sent to the public. It is an interesting and varied role, which involves liaising with the public, staff in all Council departments and external organisations.

Are you a highly organised administrator? If yes, we would like to hear from you, to support our Information Governance Team to respond to Freedom of Information and Subject Access Requests.

In this role you will be processing all enquiries using the Council’s IT systems, chasing the provision of information and preparing responses to be sent to the public. It is an interesting and varied role, which involves liaising with the public, staff in all Council departments and external organisations.

You will need at least 3 years relevant experience in a similar role, a GCSE in Maths and English at Grade C/Level 4 or above to apply for this role. You will also demonstrate a high standard of communication both written and verbal, be highly organised with excellent IT skills and attention to detail. You will also have an inquisitive mind to find out where to source information.

The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in fluent English is essential in this post.

The hours of work are 37 per week, Monday to Friday. This is a hybrid working role (a minimum of 1 days per week working in the office).
