Job Description

We are seeking 3 x Cat C Class 2 drivers to join us to be part of Ipswich Borough Council’s refuse & cleansing team.

The contract is for 40 hours per week, based on Gipping House (Hadleigh Road Industrial Estate).

We’re looking for ambitious and enthusiastic people to join, and ultimately lead our teams of refuse collection operatives, must be a team player, all you need is a full clean driving licence, be 18 or over, and the willingness to complete the LGV licence process including Driver CPC accreditation. Refuse vehicle driving experience is desirable but not essential.

Alongside supported and funded driver training, you’ll learn to run a refuse team and ensure service delivery and Health and Safety excellence across Ipswich.
